Our Attendance Expectation

At Daffodil, we place a high value on attendance and behaviour as essential components of a successful learning environment. Regular attendance is crucial for students to fully engage with their education and make the most of their learning opportunities. We encourage punctuality and consistent attendance to ensure continuity in learning and create a sense of responsibility and commitment amongst our students. Additionally, we uphold high standards of behaviour, promoting respect, kindness, and consideration for others in all aspects of school life.

Absence and Request for Leave of Absence

We understand that there may be circumstances where students need to be absent from school. In such cases, we ask parents or guardians to notify the school as soon as possible.

For absences extending beyond a few days, a formal request for a leave of absence must be submitted in writing to the school administration. This request should include the reason for the extended absence and the expected dates.

Approval will be granted based on the nature of the request and its impact on the student's education.

Regular monitoring of attendance allows us to identify patterns and address any issues promptly. We are committed to working with families to support students in maintaining excellent attendance and achieving their full potential.
