Here’s what our amazing students have been up to this week:

🌍 Years 4 & 5: Geography & Science

Our budding scientists have been painting water cycles! 🖌️ They’ve explored how water moves through evaporation, condensation, and precipitation—turning learning into art! 🎨

🏰 Years 2 & 3: Creative Maths Games

Maths has been an adventure this week with picture puzzles and castle challenges! 🧮🏰 Students worked on their problem-solving and number skills to climb to the top and win the game.

📚 KS1 Phonics: My Dog Ned

In Phonics, Key Stage 1 has been focusing on the story My Dog Ned. Students are mastering vowels through fun activities and group discussions. 🐶✍️

🧠 KS2 Verbal Reasoning

Our students are sharpening their minds, learning how to approach and solve tricky reasoning questions. Great work, everyone! 💡✅

💻 Computer Science Ed Week (Years 2–5)

This week, Years 2, 3, 4, and 5 dove into the world of tech, exploring virtual reality and gesture control. 🌐🤖 They discovered how these cutting-edge technologies work and even had fun trying them out!

📚 Book Publishing Project

Exciting news! 🎉 All students from Year 1 through to Year 5 have completed the first draft of their excerpts for the school book. Next week, they will finalise their work before it’s sent off for printing. 🖨️

Parents will soon be able to purchase copies! Order forms will be handed out next week. 📖

📜 Year 1: History - People in the Past

Year 1 have been learning about important figures like Christopher Columbus 🌊⛵, discovering how he explored the world and his impact on history.

👮 People in Uniform: Police Visit

We had a special visit from the police! 🚓👮 Students enjoyed learning about their roles and responsibilities and even had a chance to ask lots of questions.

🚒 Trip to Shadwell Fire Station: Students will visit the fire station on Monday to learn about fire safety and the incredible work of firefighters.
