They've done amazing in science this week, especially with the presentations on the digestive system.

We will be practising writing hieroglyphics and using this in our class project, which involves creating a map of ancient Egypt, with pyramids and more!

Year 1s learnt about Ibn Battuta. Their History work has been displayed in the Year 1 classroom.

Year 1s also worked together as a team to build a castle, which is proudly displayed in their classroom!

📚 Phonics

In Phonics, Year 1 students have been learning On the Bus and have started reading the books handed out to them.

✋ No Pens Day

On Wednesday 27th, we had No Pens Day! Students across the school enjoyed a variety of hands-on and discussion-based activities, putting their pens aside to focus on communication and collaboration skills. It was a fun and engaging day for all!

📖 Year 2/3 Class

Year 2/3 students have been diving into creative story writing this week, imagining what the future might look like. They’ve been working on developing their ideas with structured plans and using higher-level vocabulary to enhance their narratives. It’s been wonderful to see their creativity and language skills grow as they craft imaginative tales about futuristic worlds!
