🚒 Whole School Trip to Shadwell Fire Station

This week, the entire school had an exciting trip to Shadwell Fire Station! 🧯 Students learned important fire safety tips, explored a real fire engine 🚨, and even got to use a fire hose to put out a pretend fire. It was an unforgettable experience!

🗞️ Year 1 Reporters for the Day

🍎 Arabic Fruit Day with Ms. Fatima and Ms. Nasira

Ms. Fatima and Ms. Nasira have been working with students on learning Arabic fruit vocabulary. 🍓 To wrap up the lesson, students had a fun Fruit Day 🍉 where they brought in their favourite fruits and gave their very own presentations in Arabic! What a tasty and educational experience!

🏰 KS2's 3D Printing Adventures

Mr. Stephen has been working with KS2 students to bring famous buildings to life using 3D printing! They started with a castle 🏰, which will soon be displayed for everyone to see. Over the coming weeks, students will explore different architectural styles, transforming their drawings ✏️ into amazing models as they journey around the world. 🌍

📝 Daffodil Book Publication Project

Miss Sumayyah is wrapping up the publication project as students complete their submissions for the Daffodil Book. 📖 Order forms for these fantastic creations will be sent out soon—stay tuned! ✨

🔥 Great Fire of London Diary Entries

Our Year 2 and Year 3 students have been busy channeling their inner historians by writing diary entries inspired by the Great Fire of London. Their creativity and writing skills are on fire! 🔥

KS1 Phonics Focus

This week’s phonics book for KS1 is Six Fish 🐟. Students are focusing on the ‘th’ and ‘sh’ sounds while also recapping vowel sounds. Keep practising at home! 🏠

🎲 Indoor Fun for Rainy Days

As the weather turns colder and rain soaks us 🌧️, Daffodil is opening its warm rooms for indoor board games 🎲, puzzles 🧩, and art 🎨 activities. Students can look forward to games like Jenga, creative tasks, and plenty of fun—all while staying warm and stimulated indoors. 🏠
